softcoresoft is a Montréal-based DJ, producer, and live electronic performer, active in the international electronic music scene since 2015. She is the co-founder of the techno label Humidex and has performed at renowned events including MUTEK Montréal, Piknic Électronik, Igloofest, Stereo, OCTOV, POP Montréal, and international venues such as Berlin’s Urban Spree, Polygon, Barcelona’s LAUT, and Norway’s International Bergen Festival.
In 2017, she performed as part of the electronic duo Demora, and has curated projects like the 43-track benefit compilation Power Puerto Rico with rave collective Lagom. softcoresoft also hosts Ravelength on Montréal-based online radio station n10.as, highlighting women-identified producers and selectors through guest mixes and interviews.
Her current live hardware set blends techno, acid, electro, hypnotic trance, and industrial influences, combining higher BPMs with melodic depth. Known for immersive and hypnotic performances, softcoresoft’s sets offer both a mental voyage and dancefloor energy, drawing audiences into a dynamic, multi-layered electronic experience.
She has collaborated with Discwoman, performing at events in Montréal and Brooklyn and releasing a celebrated Discwoman mix in 2018. Through her productions, live performances, and curatorial work, softcoresoft continues to shape the Montréal electronic music scene and inspire both local and international audiences.
