ScuudExclamationMark is the electronic music project of Jérôme E., a French-Canadian multi-instrumentalist and producer based in Montréal. Having played music since the age of five, Jérôme has explored a wide range of genres before turning to electronic production, bringing years of instrumental experience into the world of synth-driven music.
His musical path is diverse: he began as a drummer in a metal band, later became a guitarist and vocalist in a rock cover band, and also played drums in a math-rock project. Today, he channels those influences into atmospheric electronic music, creating Synthwave and Sovietwave inspired by retro aesthetics, analog synthesizers, and cinematic soundscapes.
Drawing from the nostalgic textures of 1980s electronic music, ScuudExclamationMark blends retro synth melodies, warm ambient atmospheres, and driving electronic rhythms. His productions evoke neon-lit cities, vintage sci-fi soundtracks, and the emotional depth of modern synthwave.
Based in Montréal’s vibrant electronic music scene, ScuudExclamationMark brings a unique hybrid performance style to the stage. His live sets combine electronic production, electric guitar, and synchronized light shows, creating an immersive audiovisual experience that connects live instrumentation with electronic performance.
