_KIDD is the electronic music project of Alex Kidd, a Brazilian producer, musician, and composer based in Montréal. Blending experimental electronic music with immersive sound design, his work explores atmospheric textures, dark sonic landscapes, and evolving ambient environments.
Using semi-modular synthesizers and hardware instruments, _KIDD crafts rich soundscapes designed to transport listeners into deep, cinematic atmospheres. His music moves between experimental electronics, ambient, and psychedelic sonic exploration, inviting audiences to travel through sound with both emotion and curiosity.
Since launching the project, _KIDD has independently released six EPs, building a catalog of experimental electronic music shaped by improvisation, synthesis, and sonic experimentation. His creative process often unfolds live through electronic jam sessions, many of which are shared on his YouTube channel, offering a window into his studio workflow and modular synthesis techniques.
In addition to music production, _KIDD creates psychedelic audio-reactive visuals generated with Ableton Live, combining generative visuals with electronic sound to create immersive audiovisual experiences.
