SimWou

SimWou (Simon Wouters) is a Montréal-based electronic music producer and DJ exploring the evolving landscape of underground dance music. After beginning his journey behind the decks only a few years ago, he has quickly shifted his focus toward music production, developing a sound that blends emotion, groove, and experimentation. 

Based in Montréal’s vibrant electronic music scene, SimWou draws inspiration from genres such as Progressive House, Deep House, Organic House, Melodic House, and Techno. His approach to music is exploratory and boundary-free, combining atmospheric textures, melodic progressions, and dancefloor-driven rhythms. 

Through DJ sets and studio work, SimWou is focused on discovering his own sonic identity — a “color” that reflects both personal creativity and the diverse energy of the Montreal electronic music community. By experimenting between genres and moods, he crafts immersive musical journeys designed for late-night dance floors, underground events, and evolving electronic audiences.

As he continues to refine his productions, SimWou represents a new generation of Montreal DJs and producers pushing the boundaries of house and techno while contributing to the city’s globally respected electronic music culture.
